School and scout groups can schedule guided hikes and nature walks led by our professional staff. The Palisades are uniquely situated for studying geology and river ecology, though many topics can be covered (woodland ecology, winter ecology, history, invasive plant species, etc.). Hikes range from easy to moderate and can be offered in any part of the park. These programs are subject to staff availability (see calendar below for available dates) — please arrange early. For more information or to make a reservation, please call 201-615-9226 or email Christina Fehre: cfehre@njpalisades.org.

Private guided hikes are more appropriate for private groups who are not affiliated with a partnering organization. Fee is $10 per person. For more information or to make a reservation, please call 201-615-9226 or email Christina Fehre: cfehre@njpalisades.org.
