Group Picnic Permit

This permit is for picnic groups of 50 or more, including birthday parties, bridal showers, family picnics, church picnics, class outings or field trips, etc., not held at Alpine Pavilion. (Consult our Group Use & Picnic Policy for limitations on group sizes in each area and definition of peak and off-peak season and other terms.)
During off-peak season, permits may be issued for weekdays and weekends (except holidays) in all picnic areas and groves.
During peak season, permits may be issued for weekdays (except holidays) in all picnic areas and groves.
During peak season, permits may be issued for weekends (except holidays) only at Carpenter's Grove and Alpine Grove.
Group Picnic Permits are not issued on holidays and holiday weekends.
The following conditions will apply to all permits issued:
Seasonal parking and bus permit fees apply (separate bus permit is not necessary).
Permit does not include any regulated items or alcohol use.
Area amenities are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Permit holders for Alpine Grove and Carpenter's Grove have priority use of park amenities in the immediate area.
Permit is subject to the area group size limitations. Special permission is required for groups greater than area limit. Additional fees apply.
Please check the availability of the date you are interested in by calling 201 768-1360. Dates are reserved upon receipt of a complete application including a signed permit (2 pages), copy of driver's license, payment of fee and security deposit, and proof of insurance when required.
