These summertime hiking adventures for children with the Kearney House staff are held on Tuesday mornings in August. Each hike meets at 10 am at a different place in the park and covers about 3 mi. in 2 hr. over relatively easy trails. For children ages five and up. Check our calendar for meeting places.
Retreat Day:
“The Times that Try Men's Souls”This commemoration of the Continental Army’s 1776 strategic retreat across the Jerseys is held each year at Fort Lee Historic Park on the weekend closest to the historic date of November 20.

“Punch & Pie” at Mrs. Kearney's Tavern
In which our guests participate in the re-creation of a 19th-century Hudson River tavern at the Kearney House. Held on evenings from 7:30–10 pm, the fireside programs feature light food & drink, songs & tall tales—in an authentic candlelit setting.
