Open / Closed in the Park:
Alpine Approach Road south of Park Headquarters is CLOSED TO ALL USE from Monday, February 27, for approx. 6–8 weeks for major road reconstruction.
Due to hazardous conditions, this closure will be strictly enforced. Violators are subject to summonses.

|Alpine Picnic Area: Open daylight hours. No vehicle access until reopening of Henry Hudson Drive. Pavilion restrooms closed for season (parking plaza restrooms remain open). Kearney House closed for season.|

|Englewood Picnic Area: Open daylight hours. Snack Shack closed for season.|

Volunteering as a Group
There are several ways we can accommodate organized groups who wish to do a service project in the park :
- If your group or company would like to do a volunteer work project to help improve one of our park areas, please call or email Anthony Taranto, Director of Operations | 201-768-1360 ext. 107.
- If your group or company would like to do a litter cleanup in the park, or would like to do a work project on the park’s trails, please call or email Christina Fehre, Director of Trails & Outdoor Programs | 201-615-9226.
Volunteering as an Individual
By submitting a completed volunteer application, individuals can sign up to be notified of major volunteer projects, to request a volunteer position at one of our historic sites or in some other capacity in the park, or to complete a community service requirement for their school or organization.
