The Palisades of the Hudson

Alpine Picnic Area is a scenic riverfront picnic area in Alpine, New Jersey. It is also the site of Alpine Pavilion and the historic Kearney House.

At the northern end of Henry Hudson Drive, Alpine Picnic Area features picnic tables, some grills (visitors may bring their own), restrooms, water, and waste receptacles, as well as access for fishing and crabbing and to our trail system.

The beach at the north end of the picnic area can be used for car-top boat launching (paddlers must be able to carry their boats and equipment from the parking area about 500 feet to the beach).
